We want EVERYONE to gather with us to celebrate all your Habitat affiliate has accomplished in 2022 and to look ahead to 2023 together. So, in the spirit of holiday giving, tickets to Homes for the Holidays are FREE! And we hope that you'll also be generous with us. Join us at Sunset Zoo on Thursday, December 8th from 6-7:30pm!
Santa will join us! Enjoy our holiday smörgåsbord from Hy-Vee, hot chocolate bar, and build a Christmas ornament replica of Build 31, our current Build in Ogden, KS across from Ogden Elementary School. Learn in real-time about our award-winning design complete with solar panels. We'll also enjoy holiday music by the Blue Skies Brass Quintet including a special performance of Home(s) for the Holidays! There's no dress code for this event but participants are encouraged to wear an ugly Christmas sweater.
All of this festive fun will be captured by Little Leapling Photography.
Winners will be announced for our first annual holiday coloring contest. Prizes will be awarded to three age categories: 0-6, 7-12, and 13-99+. You don’t have to be present to win but we’d love to have you there!
Choose between two coloring page options found here. You can also pick up a coloring page at ReStore (514 Pillsbury Drive). Then drop off your completed coloring page at ReStore Wednesday through Saturday between 10am-4pm or email a scan to Ben at development@mahfh.org by Tuesday, December 6th.
Even though tickets to this event are free, putting on the event isn't free. As a non-profit, we are always in need of funding for the work we do to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.
Please consider making a generous donation towards this event or as your end-of-year giving to the work of your local Habitat affiliate. Make your donation when you register by clicking the "I want to make an additional contribution" box at the end. We'd also encourage you or your business to consider sponsoring this event at any of the available levels. See below for sponsorship opportunities.
Thanks in advance and see you at the Zoo in your ugly sweater on December 8th!
